Seeing tan people during theCollagen
Refresh Lemonade winter time usually puts one thing in your head and that is fake bake. Because you can't lay out as easily in the sun as you can during the summer time. Tanning can be enjoyable and relaxing if you know what you are doing. It is important to understand your skin type and your limits before you go full speed ahead.
If you have never tanned before then you will want to take it slow. If your salon has different levels of beds then you want the beginner one. Don't worry right now about all the specialty beds, you don't need that. What you need to focus on is getting a base tan and getting your skin used to the process.
To help your skin stay nourished and moisturized it is essential you use a tanning lotion. This will help you get good color and it also smells good. There are different types of lotions. Tingle lotion does exactly what it sounds like. When the lotion gets heated up it tingles on your skin. Some people like this and some don't. There are also different levels of tingles so I would suggest getting a sample and try it out before you spend big bucks on a full bottle. There are lotions especially designed for men as well. Lotions are expensive but are well worth it. Don't get your lotion at big box stores because this lotion is not recommended by tanning salons because it tears up the finish on their beds. If it is tearing up the finish on their beds imagine what it is doing to your skin.
After you get done tanning you need to put on a moisturizer to help your skin heal. When I tan I use a moisturizer that has hemp seed oil in it and that works really well.
When you first start tanning you don't want to stay in the bed for the maximum time limit. You may not even see any results your first week but that is okay. Go every other day and just start out slow, like maybe 4 - 5 minutes your first time. I know this may not seem like a lot of time but you don't want to burn.
