How to Get to Sleep Fast The Importance of a Good Routine

All too often, sleep is just oneSleep Faster Rem Vital Review those things that we cram in between one day and the next. This can be particularly true of those people who work shift patterns. A particularly common feature amongst those people who have sleep problems is that they have a poor bedtime routine. Why is a good bedtime routine important? Well, this is all part of the process of winding down at the end of the day and to start to signal to the brain that the time for sleep is near.
It does not matter greatly what your actual routine is. However, it should include a regular time for bed - a small amount of deviation from this is fine, but not too much. It should not include vigorous activity immediately prior to going to bed as this triggers adrenaline which will inhibit sleep.
The types of activities you could include are having a milky drink (nothing containing caffeine), reading a chapter of a book (nothing too stimulating), having a bath, getting changed into pyjamas, brushing teeth, brushing hair, etc. Whatever works for you. The important thing though is to be consistent, so only include things that you are confident that you can stick to.
Your routine in the morning is also important. In particular, you should avoid hitting that snooze button. As soon as your alarm clock sounds, then get and get ready for your day. Easier said than done I know, but after just a few days of sticking to your routines you will start to feel the benefits and will feel more awake and alert.
