Tracks ReviewDictionary, the word 'decide' is made up of two Latin words: de- "off" + cædere "to cut". Therefore, the word 'decide' literally means "to cut off". So a real decision is one where any alternative outcomes are cut off.
So you see, I hadn't really decided to succeed. If I had, not succeeding would not have been an option; cut off, as it were.
Now things are different. Three weeks ago I decided to succeed in my online business. The bridges are burned and retreat is not an option. Of course, the decision itself is not enough. I must now follow through with action, which I am doing every day. I am very clear that success starts from within and that my outer world is a reflection of my inner world. I couldn't change my outer world and hope my inner world would fall into line, which was something I was guilty of trying before. Now I am ready inside, as long as I stay focused on my goals, success is assured.
