Five Tips for a Great Workout!

You don't ever want to walk into the gym. load up the bench press. and start going. Rather. do some light jogging. and do some reps with just the bar before adding weight.

Every gym should have one of these. and I would even go so far as to recommend it for your home too! Despite the simplicity of these items. they are a must have in your workouts. While stretching addresses your tissue length. this addresses tissue quality. Foam rollers promote blood flow and breaking up tissue knots. Think of it as a free massage!

You always want to keep track of your workouts. This is important because you don't want to find yourself plateauing. Keep track of the amount of reps. and the weight you use for each exercise. The next time you do that exercise. try to do more. This will keep your body working harder each week. and will allow you to grow both in size and strength!

A workout partner is a must have for a great workout. Not only do workout partners allow you to push yourself further by providing you with a spot. but they will also keep you accountable and motivated for your now intense workouts! A little friendly competition never killed anyone!
